About Dr. Danielle Bentley

Dr. Danielle Bentley (BSc, BPHE, MSc, RKin, PhD) is an Associate Professor, and the Program Director of the Master of Medical Foundations in the Dept. of Human Health Sciences, University of Guelph. She is involved in the instruction of embryology, gross anatomy, and human dissection to undergraduate, graduate, and medical students. She completed her master’s degree at Queen’s University in anatomical education before coming to the University of Toronto where her doctoral degree research shifted to the clinical sciences, specifically the use of exercise for cardiovascular disease prevention and treatment. Dr. Bentley then completed a post-doc in Knowledge Translation with the University Health Network focusing on implementation fidelity. Merging her previous experiences in anatomy education and clinical research, Dr. Bentley emphasizes the clinical applicability of basic anatomical concepts in each of her courses.
